The basis is the official list of monuments of the city of Bonn (as of March 15, 2019), which is maintained by the Lower Monument Authority . The basis for inclusion in the list of monuments is the Monument Protection Act of North Rhine Westphalia .

Originally this votive cross stood on the opposite street crossing between two linden trees. Inscription: A 1731 APRIL 20, ELISABETHA WINRIS AND CHRISTIAN KOCHGE WES EHELEUTH HAS ESTABLISHED THIS CREUTZ BURGERS IN BONN . Until it was donated to the city, it belonged to the family of Joseph Roth . The inscription is badly weathered and partly no longer there. | 1731 | A 1596

The "Friesdorfer Alaunhütte" was located on the site of today's Annaberg estate. After this had become unprofitable, Eugen Pfeifer (partner of the Cologne sugar factory Pfeifer & Langen ) acquired the property as a summer residence.
