cath. Parish Church of St. George Card at the church square
The parish mentioned in 1196 must have existed before the beginning of the 11th century and probably goes back to the time of St. Liudger, neo-Gothic hall church in stone with transept and three choirs, 1896 by Wilhelm Rincklake from Münster. The lower tower floors of the late Gothic predecessor building, west portal (referenced 1526) with high tracery window, baptismal font with tendril frieze and arcade structure, 2nd quarter of the 13th century

The following objects are components of the monument:
1. Enthroned Mother of God
wood, painted in color. Dimensions: height 45 cm, width 20 cm, depth 18 cm. Date of origin around 1250. The head of the clothed child has been renewed, it incorrectly bears female features. This led to the naming of the figure as "Anna with Maria". In terms of the type of representation, however, it is undoubtedly a Madonna enthroned.
2.
Wooden crucifix , bordered in color. Dimensions: cross height 190 cm, width 95 cm, body height 90 cm. Cross bar with quatrefoil end, lower end inserted into the pedestal. Body in the three-nail type in baroque style forms. Originated at the end of the 19th century.
3. Saint John of Nepomuk
wood, with a younger painting. Dimensions: height 90 cm, width 32 cm, depth 24 cm. Date of origin: early 19th century
4. Saint Michael slaying a dragon
Wood with a younger paint. Dimensions: height 117 cm, width 65 cm, depth 67 cm. Date of origin in the middle of the 18th century. The name of the figure as Saint George, which is common in the parish, is incorrect (George, for example, has no flaming sword). Possibly converted into Saint George by removing the wings.
