	Wülfrath town center		Wülfrath, probably founded as a single farm in the early Middle Ages, has developed into a farming and craft village in the following centuries. The town church was the starting point for the local formation. As in other cities in the Lower Bergisches Land, the church square is surrounded by old mountain gabled houses. Around it over the northern slope, mainly on Wilhelmstrasse, the town center developed from Altbergian houses by the 19th century. The designation of the monument area serves to protect the city plan, the preservation of the plot structure and the Bergisch residential buildings with their typical architectural details. 	Düssel village		Düssel is a clustered village in a hollow of the Düsselbach at the transition from the Rhine plain to the Bergisches Land. The place developed from a Fronhof first mentioned in 1182, later the Düssel House. The site consists of around 40 structures, almost half of which are listed or have substance worth preserving for historical reasons.
