Castle courtyard

Quitzow Tower Around 1600 the moated castle was expanded into a palace. This castle was demolished in 1949. The former dungeon tower remained standing. It is a plastered building, probably from the late Middle Ages. In 1904 the tower was completed with a pyramid roof, it had previously burned down. BW

( Location ) City parish church of St. Katharinen The church was built in the Middle Ages, the exact construction process is unclear. The church burned down in 1646 and 1703, after which it was repeatedly rebuilt. In 1751 the tower collapsed and was also restored. Inside there is a baptism from 1486 and an altar from 1652.
