The list of airports in Rhode Island gives an overview of all airports in the US state. The list contains all public and military airports. Private airfields are included if they were previously publicly used, commercial flight movements are registered there by the FAA or the airport has been assigned an IATA code.

* The FAA defines different categories for the use of airports:
- PR: Commercial Service - Primary : Publicly owned airports that are served regularly and whose passenger numbers are over 10,000 per year
- CS: Commercial Service - Non-Primary : Publicly owned airports that are regularly served and whose passenger numbers reach at least 2,500 per year
- RL: Reliever : Alternate airports that are supposed to relieve commercial airports when there is a high volume of flights
- GA: General Aviation : Airports for general aviation
