List of governors of Odisha
The following table lists the governors of Odisha since the independence of India with their respective terms of office. The state has been called Odisha since November 4, 2011, before that it was called Orissa. Orissa had a governor's office since April 1, 1936, when the Oriyas- speaking areas became a unified province under British colonial administration . The first Indian-born governor was from April 1, 1946 until the founding of the Indian state Chandulal Madhavlal Trivedi (1893-1981).
