The list of war fish cutters (post-war construction) is a partial list of the list of war fish cutters .

KFK shipyard assignment (from 1945)

West Germany

  • Burmester shipyard / Burg, 10 KFK, construction numbers 2891-2900 (transom type), the Burmester shipyard was taken over in 1979 by Fr. Lürssen Werft GmbH & Co. KG in Bremen-Vegesack and the location in Bremen-Burg was given up. The construction number directory of the Burmester shipyard was archived by the Lürssen shipyard.

GDR

at least 57 KFK replicas ( 24m cutter series, both Spitzgatter and mirror boats ) at 11 shipyards

In contrast to the KF, they were built oak on oak and not composite.

  • In and around Swinoujscie (Stettin, Neuwarp, Dievenow): 1947–1950 about 6 KFK, serial designation (SKS 240) Region Swinoujscie / Swinemünde from KFK shipyard material and / or repairs
  • probably Gdynia and / or the entire coast: around 46 replicas, serial designation B12
  • Other similar ones as series B25 at previously unknown shipyards

The hull without a name was bought by the then BP London, which had it built as a sailor (as a so-called "travel cutter") at Burmester. Named after the nickname of one of the CEOs → FREDDY

Post-war production in Poland

Remarkably, Polish fishermen still refer to these ships as Ka-eF-Ka today.

SKS 240 series

1947–1950 in Stettin and the surrounding area (Swinoujscie / Swinemünde, Nowe Warpno / Neuwarp, Dziwnow / Dievenow) under the serial designation SKS-240, six KFK fishing cutters were completed, repaired or rebuilt from KFK raw material.

B12 series

Another 46 newbuildings based on the KFK model probably followed in Gdynia / Gdynia and / or other, smaller fishing yards along the entire Polish coast.

B25 series

A previously unknown number of other very similar fishing trawls were built later as the B25 series.
