after 1945 Historical significance, cemetery for prisoners of the Flößberg labor camp (subcamp of the Buchenwald concentration camp), the prisoners and deceased were predominantly Polish and Hungarian Jews as well as Jewish and political prisoners from 14 European nations.

Cemetery for prisoners of the Flößberg labor camp (subcamp of Buchenwald concentration camp for HASAG Leipzig), laid out around 1950, on the site a simple boulder with the inscription: VVN / DIE TOTEN / MAHNEN, iron gate, small complex with conifers, in the middle of the forest, the labor camp Flößberg existed from November 1944 to April 1945, it was a so-called Jewish command, which means that the conditions here were particularly harsh, among the at least 1902 prisoners there were at least 180 deaths, the prisoners were mainly Polish and Hungarian Jews as well as Jewish and political Prisoners from 14 European nations. The cemetery is a historical testimony to the tyranny and persecution of Jews and political opponents under National Socialism. This means that it has a high documentation and memory value.
