1799 The town of Nenkersdorf, located south of Borna, was of great importance in the past for supplying the surrounding area with clay, which was extracted from the grounds of the manor. The potters in Kohren, Frohburg, Geithain and Borna covered their material needs here. The beginnings of the history of Nenkersdorf as a knight's seat go back to the Middle Ages. The current building stock of the manor was built in 1799. At that time the manor was in the hands of the noble family from the Winkel. In the classicist manor house, the high cellar still contains cross vaults from the previous building. The stone hall inside is of particular importance, formerly circular, which still contains wall and ceiling frames from around 1800. The manor house of Nenkersdorf is a classical building from 1799 and a representative representative in the context of the Saxon castle landscape. From this point of view, the property, including the associated side buildings and ancillary facilities, embodies a high level of local and architectural significance. The mansion is a two-storey baroque building with a central projectile and a mansard roof, next to it on each side a single-storey building with a high mansard roof and attic, probably the farm building of the mansard. The building on the left has been changed by wide windows on the ground floor, the original on the right has been preserved and is empty. Opposite the former manor building and farm yard, changed. 09258904
