The list of natural monuments in Schönwalde-Glien contains all natural monuments of the Brandenburg community Schönwalde-Glien and its districts in the Havelland district , which are protected by statutory instrument. (Status: 2014)

  • One tree in the group of trees is special: a bit set back in the forest stands the mighty trunk of the stag's head oak (named because of the growth of branches that resembled a stag's head) at 6.25 meters . Only a crownless trunk is left of the tree; flaking bark on the trunk on the pull and pressure side; strong trunk jacket cracks; Decay process through complete decomposition of the roots, large decay and numerous fruiting bodies of different types of fungi.
    The other members of the tree group are magnificent oaks with good vitality and only a few defects.
