List of nature reserves in Brunei

The list of nature reserves in Brunei includes all nature reserves , including national parks in Southeast Asian Brunei . The protected areas are managed by the Forestry Department of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism . According to the IUCN, there are (as of April 2020) 56 protected areas that cover an area of ​​2794 km² and thus almost half of the area of ​​Brunei. In addition, 52 km² of the South China Sea are under protection.
