List of number one hits in Greece

The number one hits of the music industry in Greece are determined weekly. Until 19/2008, partly until 2009, the IFPI of Greece published national and international singles and album charts. After that, the IFPI pages were not updated for a long time. Since the beginning of 2010 there are again official international album charts with exclusively foreign artists both from IFPI and on the website greekcharts.com, an offshoot of hitparade.ch . Local music has a strong presence in the Greek market and has dominated the combined sales charts in previous years, so the charts available since 2010 only reflect international music tastes in Greece and not the full music market.
