This is a list of cities and towns in Tonga .
By far the largest agglomeration in Tonga is Nukuʻalofa with a population of 33,102 (as of January 1, 2005). This means that around a third of the country's population is concentrated in the capital region.
The table lists the cities and towns with more than 800 inhabitants, the results of the census of November 30, 1996, a calculation for January 1, 2005 and the superordinate administrative unit (division) to which the city belongs. The population figures refer to the actual city without the suburbs.
