The list of city ​​presidents of Winterthur provides an overview of the city leaders of Winterthur from 1798 to the present day. In the time before the French Revolution, mayors were at the head of the city. The first mayor of Winterthur, Christoph Ziegler, was previously mayor of the city. The first president to be elected as head of a multi-member executive was Johann Rudolf Sulzer.

The mayor used to have his offices in the town hall , and since the completion of the superblock in the Sulzer site in 2015, the mayor has his offices there too.
