List of stumbling blocks in Kirkel

In the list of the stumbling blocks in Kirkel existing memorials are listed in the framework of the project pitfalls of the artist Gunter Demnig in Kirkel have been displaced. The stumbling blocks were laid by Demnig himself on April 18, 2015 and remember three victims of the T4 campaign . The life data was researched by the Kirkel Community School. In addition to the school, the Adolf Bender Center was a partner in the installation . Two of the stumbling blocks were laid in the Limbach district and one in the Neuhäusel district .

Joachim Hirsch suffered from meningitis . From 1939 he was cared for in the Weilmünster institution and came to Hadamar on January 11, 1941. Allegedly on the mend, he was murdered only 20 days later by the Nazis as part of Operation T4 .
