List of stumbling blocks in Kneitlingen

The list of stumbling blocks in Kneitlingen contains all the stumbling blocks that were laid by Gunter Demnig in Kneitlingen as part of the art project of the same name . They are intended to commemorate the victims of National Socialism who lived and worked in Kneitlingen. A stumbling block was laid when it was relocated in November 2018. (As of June 2019)

Szczepan (Stefan) Serwien, born around 1913, was a Polish prisoner of war who had to work for a farmer in Kneitlingen. Because he was angry and critical of the Germans he was doing forced labor , he was arrested on February 2, 1943, charged with "anti-German statements" and sentenced to death by the special court in Braunschweig . He was executed on March 10, 1943 in Wolfenbüttel prison.
