List of Defense Ministers of Gambia
The list of defense ministers of Gambia lists the defense ministers of the West African state of Gambia from 2019 to the present day.
As of August 2019, the official name of the office will be English Minister of Defense . This ministerial office was created as part of a small cabinet reshuffle on August 22, 2019. Previously under President Yahya Jammeh , the responsibility of the Ministry of Defense was with the President. He had the title of President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces ( English President of the Republic of the Gambia and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces ). President Adama Barrow did so after the change of government in 2017.
