The wayside cross was erected in 1875 and is now located on the corner of Kreuzherrenstrasse and Eichendorff-Weg. There is documentary evidence that the cross used to stand 150 meters to the east and that it was erected in October 1875. The wayside shrine, a so-called death lamp, dates from around 1500 and is now located at the Heilig-Kreuz-Kirche (Kreuzherrenstraße 55). This type of wayside shrine, popularly called ladle, was developed from the older lamps for the dead. Königswinterer Strasse / Weinbergweg

The wayside cross was built in 1727 by the Limperich citizens and is now located on the corner of Weinbergweg and Königswinterer Straße. This cross is one of three that clearly show that it was donated by citizens of the place concerned. In a chronicle from 1890, this cross is referred to a chronogram with the wording MIssIo Verno XrIsto PenDVLo SaCrabat. Remnants of it can still be seen on the crossbeam. Above the shell niche: IMI (Jesus, Maria, Josef?).
