The cross is known as the Schöffen or Schultheißenkruz (Scholtes = Schultheiss). Dr. Schmidt-Bleibtreu on Schillerstrasse.	Above the niche (without shell) the date of foundation: ANNO 1714 OCTOBER 18. more pictures	Pentecost cross	At the Burgpark card	The wayside cross was erected in 1885 and is now located on the corner of Am Burgpark street and the connecting path to Schillerstraße. The cross called the Pentecost Cross used to stand on the grounds of the mayor a. D. Dr. Schmidt-Bleibtreu on Schillerstrasse. The original cross was destroyed by shelling during World War II. The Jungfernkreuz was moved to its current location in 1936, until then it was on the corner of Adelheidis and Schultheissstrasse. At this point in time the inscription, which has now completely disappeared, was only partially preserved.
