The list of municipal housing in Vienna provides an overview of the residential buildings, courtyards and settlements that were built by the municipality of Vienna as part of municipal housing. The residential buildings from the 1920s in particular are internationally known for their architectural features.

During the First Republic , 382 municipal buildings were built in Vienna according to plans by 199 architects . In total, almost 65,000 apartments were completed between 1919 and 1934. Only in the 1st district no community housing was built. When the Austrofascists came to power in 1934, the construction of Red Vienna ceased . However, some workers' asylums and sanitation buildings were built.

In the post-war period, construction work was resumed from 1947 - the Per-Albin-Hansson-Siedlung was the first large new building. Due to the large housing shortage during this period, a further 96,000 apartments were created by 1970. Today the City of Vienna owns around 220,000 apartments in more than 2,300 community buildings with over 500,000 residents.

The list is subdivided into 23 sublists according to the districts of Vienna .
