The branch church in St. Gertrauden, northeast of Mauterndorf, is a Romanesque building with minor Gothic and Baroque changes. The simple Romanesque nave is adjoined in the east by the single-bay choir, raised by three steps, and a Romanesque apse with a semicircular end. The tower with the onion helmet is south of the nave. The baroque high altar dates from the middle of the 18th century. Several epitaphs and images from the 17th and 18th centuries have also been preserved inside.

The small baroque church, consecrated in 1647, stands on a hill in the southwest of Mauterndorf. To the west of the simple, single-nave nave with a groin vault, the undivided tower connects. The early baroque high altar dates from 1642.

The parish church in the south of the market square is essentially Gothic, but was extensively rebuilt in the 17th and 18th centuries. The baroque nave with side extensions from 1795 still has a Gothic gallery yoke. The slightly raised choir dates from the years 1640 to 1646. The west tower presented is Gothic in the lower part and was raised in 1746. The high altar from 1702 once stood in the Tamsweg parish church.
