The former owner of the house was called Ignaz, or simply "Naze" for short. He ran a cooper's workshop in a small room of the house and in Mellau the building was therefore known as Naze's Hus . The building is a few hundred years old - the exact date is unknown. It was renovated in 2004/2005.

The brick chapel with a belfry was built in the 17th century. The altar in the interior also dates from this period.

The Mellenbachbrücke is a covered wooden bridge built in 1923 over the Mellenbach below the Dösvorsäß. The bridge is constructed as a hanging truss and has a gable roof that extends far forward, with a wooden crucifix in the gable field. Down the river, the plank apron is pierced by slits of light and eyes. The bridge is no longer used today.
