The parish church in the middle of the village was originally built in 1641 using older masonry. After the destruction in 1683, it was completely renewed in the years 1722–1728. A three-story bell tower is presented to the south of your long five-bay nave.

Karl Prantl's boundary stone from St. Margarethen sand-lime stone was originally intended to be erected on the Austro-Hungarian border in Nickelsdorf as a symbol of freedom of thought , but it found its place here in the sculptor's birthplace.
