List of German train stations in price class 1
The list of German train stations in price class 1 contains 21 train stations that are classified by DB Station & Service in price class 1. These are located in representative buildings, mostly in the center of large cities, and offer up to 550,000 travelers every day all rail-related services. With 34 platform tracks, Munich has the largest number. The German railway referred Frankfurt due to its location in the middle of Germany as the most important hub for rail passenger transport .
Explanation
- Type: specifies the type of station according to its operational importance (a special design is noted in brackets if necessary).
- Opening: indicates the year the station opened.
- Movements: states the daily number of train movements in the station ( long-distance and local trains , including: number of S-Bahn train movements).
- Tracks: states the number of platform tracks in the station.
- Travelers: gives the daily number of travelers and visitors.
- Barrier-free: Mention the possible fact that every platform is accessible without stairs. The classification "Partial" means that this circumstance does not apply to every platform.
- Image: Shows a picture of the train station.
