List of former comprehensive schools in Hamburg

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This list of the former comprehensive schools in Hamburg contains all comprehensive schools that existed in Hamburg between 1968 and 2010 .

The Alter Teichweg School and the Heinrich Hertz School were set up as a school experiment in 1968 after the educational policy debates of the 1960s. By 1977, six more comprehensive schools followed as a school trial until 1977 when the new Hamburg School Act declared the establishment of this type of school to be a parental right and the Higher Administrative Court finally declared the comprehensive school to be a regular school on September 7, 1979. Until the school reform in Hamburg on August 1, 2010, there were the following integrated and cooperative comprehensive schools (GS) in Hamburg , which through this reform, together with the secondary and secondary schools, became 52  district schools .
