List of district schools in Hamburg

The list of district schools in Hamburg contains all state and non-state general education district schools (STS) that currently exist in Hamburg . As of the 2019/20 school year, there were 58 state and 27 non-state district schools. Are not included in this list G12 high schools , night schools , business schools , upper secondary schools (unless as the site of a STS), preparatory courses and other types of schools.

  • Since : Year of foundation, which is handed down in the district school, usually the year of foundation of the converted comprehensive school or similar. This does not mean the year of reorganization in district schools, which is the same for almost all STS (2010).
  • Levels : Levels offered, i.e. primary level (P), secondary level I (S1) and II (S2) in the 2017/18 school year, a district school in long form also has a primary school section (i.e. P).
  • Number : Number of students in all levels (i.e. primary level, secondary level I and II, if any) in the school year 2017/18, rounded to the nearest ten
  • Tradition and peculiarities : from which schools was the STS formed, and any peculiarities In the case of non-state schools, the school authority must be named here.
