Kim So-eun (born September 6, 1989 in Namyangju , Gyeonggi-do ) is a South Korean actress who is under contract with Fantagio Entertainment. She is best known for the role of Chu Ga-eul in the television drama Boys Over Flowers .

In the film Mourning Grave (2014) she plays a ghost who befriends a boy who can see ghosts. This was followed by a leading role in the manga adaptation Liar Game .

She is currently enrolled at Chung Ang University in theater and film.
