List of Paralympic medalists from Namibia
NAM
The Namibian Paralympic Committee was founded in 1990 with Namibia's independence and was accepted as a member in 1991 by the International Paralympic Committee . It also represents the Namibian athletes at the Paralympic Games .
Namibia first took part in the Paralympic Summer Games as an independent nation in 1992. Two athletes were sent who did not win medals. Only in 2004 was another athlete sent out. In 2008 the country, which was again represented by only one athlete, won the first medal. Two medals followed in 2012.
