Johannes Nambala (born March 24, 1991 in Iikokola ) is a Paralympic Namibian athlete in the T13 category . Nambala is one of the most successful athletes in his home country.

successes

Nambala was the first Namibian to win a gold medal at the 2013 World Disabled Athletics Championships . In Lyon he won over the 400 meters and also silver over half the distance. At the 2015 World Athletics Championships for the disabled in Doha, bronze over the 400 meters and gold over the 200 meters followed. At the African Games in the same year, Nambala won gold over 400 meters.

At the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro , Nambala won silver twice over the 100 and 400 meters.

Nambala won silver over the 400 meters at the World Athletics Championships for the disabled in 2017 . In 2019 Nambala won gold over the 400 meters and bronze over the 100 meters.
