List of Filipino Ambassadors in Brazil

The Eurico Gaspar Dutra government sent Carlos Martins Silverio Ramos as a special envoy to the flag change in Manila on July 4, 1946 (Republic Day) and recognized the Philippine government. First the Filipino ambassadors in Washington, DC were also accredited in Rio de Janeiro , then the ambassadors in Buenos Aires . On September 16, 1965, Carlos S. Tan opened the first Filipino embassy in Rio de Janeiro.

The embassy has been in Brasília since September 1, 1973 .
