Ruhland map former Bismarck monument, destroyed in 1945 former Bismarck monument 1895 Dedicated to Otto von Bismarck by the Heimatverein Ruhland on his 80th birthday; Across from the upper parish on the church square, an oak was planted in April and a 2 ½ m high monument made of sandstone was inaugurated on June 9th. The front of the memorial had a plaque with the portrait and the inscription “1. April 1895 ". On the back it said "The Great Chancellor". The memorial was removed in 1945.

On the grave field by the stele, which has meanwhile been leveled, lie soldiers who died in the Ruhland military hospital and at home, victims of bomb attacks and other violent warriors.

Some like 12 victims of the 1st bomb attack on August 24, 1944 are named.

Schönburgsau map Geschwister-Scholl memorial stone on Geschwister-Scholl-Weg more pictures Geschwister-Scholl memorial stone 2016 The Geschwister-Scholl memorial stone on Geschwister-Scholl-Weg was commissioned by Parkaktiv in 2015 and set up in 2016 at the Schwarzwasser / beginning of “Heldenhain” to commemorate the namesake of the path and their fight for tolerance. The stone is set against a background of yew trees that were planted in 2015. Next to the memorial stone is an information stele made of black granite with a note of the endowment and a QR code , which can be used to access further information about the Scholl siblings in the German-language Wikipedia on the mobile Internet (see also: QRpedia ).

Schönburgsau map Cross in the “Heldenhain” on Geschwister-Scholl-Weg more pictures Cross in the "Hero's Grove" 1922 The cross in the “Heldenhain” on Geschwister-Scholl-Weg was erected in 1922 and consecrated on March 26th. It is a memorial to the citizens of Ruhland who fell in World War I and who are named on the base after the year of their death. The base and cross have since been repaired several times. In 2015, on behalf of the Heimatverein, the font was restored, metal cladding and a new border attached.

The sphere was found again and a newly cast plaque was attached (2019).
Ruhland (exit) map Mordweg Stone Mordweg Stone > ≈1905 The Mordweg stone stands on a path to Arnsdorf (since then called "Mordweg"), on which the 15-year-old farmer's son Paul Skadock from Arnsdorf was stabbed to death on March 18, 1905 on the way home in the evening because of his wages. “The one who was employed at the Lauchhammer briquette factory. 15-year-old worker Paul Skadock from Arnsdorf near Ruhland was found murdered next to the road between these two places. The body has several stitches all over its body. the neck has been cut, and a handkerchief was tied over the latter wound. The murdered man came from here with the train, got off in Ruhland and was then seen in the glass hut. ”The memorial stone was given a new plastic plaque in November 2002, which was destroyed and removed in the following years. Schönburgsau map Princess Luisen memorial stone Princess Luisen memorial stone on Geschwister-Scholl-Weg 2015 The Prinzess-Luisen-Gedenkstein was erected by the Heimatverein in 2015 to commemorate the first namesake of the promenade, Princess Luise von Schönburg-Waldenburg. The first naming was an expression of the citizens' gratitude towards the charity of Prince Ulrich's mother and the economy of their manor.

The singer linden trees in the Ruhland office are a gift from the Schwarzbach mixed choir on the occasion of the 12th official choir meeting and the 15th year of the foundation. The singing linden tree of the mixed choir Ruhland was planted on September 29, 2011 at the city entrance (Elsterbogen / Berliner Straße) and the gift, a slate plate with reference to the 12th official singers meeting, was attached next to the tree. A little later to the north, the Ruhland men's choir was planted in 1846. On April 8, 2016, a newly designed slate board was attached to a granite slab (design Andrea Gudera, Berlin, www.baumwollfreund.de).
