The Lister Cove is a bay in the northeast of Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is halfway between Williams Point and Edinburgh Hill .
The first mapping and naming goes back to the British navigator James Weddell , who had sailed these waters between 1820 and 1823 with the brig Jane . The further naming background has not been passed down.
