Liu Xiaotong ( Chinese  刘晓彤 , Pinyin Liú Xiǎotóng ; born February 16, 1990 in Dunhua , Jilin Province ) is a Chinese volleyball player .

Liu has played in the Chinese national team since 2013 and was runner-up in Italy in 2014 . In 2015 she became Asian champion and won the World Cup in Japan . A year later, she won the gold medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro . In 2018 Liu won bronze with the national team at the Nations League and the World Cup in Japan and won the Asian Games in Jakarta . In 2019 she again won bronze in the Nations League and again the World Cup in Japan.

Liu has played for Beijing BAW since 2006 , with which she won the Chinese championship in 2019. In 2018/19 the outside attacker was active at Tianjin Bohai Bank and won the Chinese championship here in 2018 and the Asian AVC club championship in 2019.

Liu has received several awards in her career as the “best (outside) attacker”.
