Liu Yanan ( Chinese  刘亚男 , Pinyin Liú Yànán ; born September 29, 1980 in Dalian , Liaoning ) is a Chinese volleyball player .

Liu Yanan played as a middle blocker in the Chinese national team from 2001 to 2008 and won the gold medal at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens and the bronze medal at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing . She also won the 2003 World Grand Prix and the World Cup in Japan . Liu Yanan is also a multiple Asian champion and won the Asian Games twice .
