Women's Volleyball World Cup 2003

The 2003 Volleyball World Cup was the ninth edition of the competition. It took place in Japan between November 1st and 15th . China won the title. This competition was also considered a qualification for the 2004 Olympic Games .

The twelve participants played four rounds, informally divided into two groups. The system was "everyone against everyone". The first three teams each received a place for the 2004 Olympic Games .
