Women's Volleyball World Cup 1981

The 1981 Volleyball World Cup was the third edition of the competition. It took place between the 6th and the 16th of November in Osaka ( Japan instead). China won the title.

•  People's Republic of China as the winner of the Asian qualification
•  USA as winner of the NORCECA championship in 1981
•  Brazil won the South American Championship in 1981
•  South Korea at the invitation of the FIVB
