Women's Volleyball World Cup 1995

The 1995 Volleyball World Cup was the seventh edition of the competition. It took place in Japan between November 3rd and 17th . Cuba won the title. This competition was also considered a qualification for the 1996 Olympic Games .

•  Netherlands and Croatia as finalists of the 1995 European Championship 
•  People's Republic of China and South Korea as winner and runner-up of the 1995 Asian Cup 
•  Cuba and USA as winner and runner-up of the NORCECA championship in 1995 
•  Brazil and Peru as finalists of the 1995 South American Championship 
•  Egypt and Kenya as winners and runners-up at the 1995 African Cup 
•  Canada at the invitation of the FIVB

The twelve participants played four rounds, informally divided into two groups. The system was "everyone against everyone". The first three teams were each given a place for the 1996 Olympic Games .
