The Egyptian national women's volleyball team is a selection of the best Egyptian women players represented by the Egyptian Volleyball Federation in international tournaments and matches.

history

World Championship

When they first took part in a volleyball world championship , the Egyptian women finished in 16th place. At the tournaments in 2002 and 2006 it was only enough to place 21.

Olympic games

Egypt has never qualified for the Olympic Games.

African Championship

Egypt won the first African volleyball championship against Tunisia in its own country . In 1985 Tunisia took revenge and in 1987 the Egyptians came third. In 1991 and 1993 they lost in the final against Kenya . Ten years later they defeated the same opponent and took the continental title for the second time. In 2005 the Egyptian women finished third. In 2007 they missed the medal ranks for the first time as fourth.

World cup

At the World Cup in 1995 and 2003, Egypt finished twelfth.

World Grand Prix

The World Grand Prix has so far taken place without Egyptian participation.
