The South African national volleyball team of men is the selection of South African volleyball players that Volleyball South Africa (VSA) represents on an international level, for example in friendly matches against the teams of other national associations, but also in international competitions. In 1992 the national association joined the world association Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB). In January 2012, the team was ranked 36th in the world .

South Africa at the Africa Games

South Africa's national volleyball team for men has so far participated in the African Games competitions five times : in 1999, the team achieved its best position with fourth place, twice fifth (1995 and 2003) as well as sixth (2007) and seventh place (2011) reached.

South Africa at the World Cup

South Africa has not yet participated in the World Cup - the qualifying tournament for the Olympic Games.
