The South African national volleyball team for women is the selection of South African female volleyball players that Volleyball South Africa (VSA) represents on an international level, for example in friendly matches against the teams of other national associations, but also in international competitions. In 1992 the national association joined the world association Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB). In August 2012, the team was ranked 91st in the world .

South Africa at the Africa Games

South Africa's national women's volleyball team has participated in the Africa Games four times . The greatest success here was reaching fourth place in 1999; they also placed sixth (2007) and seven (1995 and 2003).

South Africa at the World Cup

South Africa has not yet participated in the World Cup - the qualifying tournament for the Olympic Games.

South Africa at the World Grand Prix

The World Grand Prix has so far taken place without South African participation.
