Live at the Marquee is an annual music festival in Cork , Ireland .

history

It has been held in Cork since 2005 between June and July after the city was named European Capital of Culture for a year . The celebrations took place on Monahan Road until 2007. From 2008 the festival will take place in the Marquee Tent on Center Park Road. The festival consists of different concert groups on different stages. The ticket prices are determined by the artists and their agencies.

Since 2005, Elton John , Anastacia , Diana Ross , Bob Dylan , Roger Waters , Eric Clapton , Lou Reed , Neil Young , Lady Gaga , Olly Murs and Sting have performed at the event .
