The Coop Cooperative operates a chain of furniture stores in Switzerland under the Livique brand ( spelling : LIVIQUE , formerly Toptip) . Together with the Lumimart lighting store (also a Coop subsidiary), a total of 46 branches and two online shops are operated. In 2012, Toptip achieved sales of 233 million Swiss francs with 695 employees, including 37 trainees.

history

The company was founded in 1954 as "Müller Bettwarenfabrik" in Muhen . In 1964 the name was changed to "Rudolf Müller AG" and in 1978 the company was sold to Möbel Pfister AG due to a lack of heirs . In 1985 the first branches were opened under the brand name «Toptip». Möbel Pfister sold the Toptip brand to Coop Schweiz AG in 1994, and “Lumimart” was integrated into the Coop cooperative at the same time. In 2018, “Toptip” was renamed “Livique”.
