Liz Hannah

Elizabeth "Liz" Hannah (born December 14, 1985 in New York City ) is an American screenwriter and film producer .

Life

Hannah grew up on the East Coast, studied at the Pratt Institute and then moved to Los Angeles , where she attended the AFI Conservatory. She planned a career as a film producer and initially worked in the development department of Charlize Theron's production company. Hannah later produced her first short films, where she also directed the short film Skin .

In 2017, her draft script for the film The Publisher , which deals with the release of the Pentagon Papers , was filmed by Steven Spielberg . After Spielberg had agreed to the filming, Hannah was supported by Josh Singer in further work on the script.

Her next project began work on the screenplay for Only Plane in the Sky , which is supposed to cover the behavior of George W. Bush on September 11, 2001 .
