Lloyd Spooner (born October 6, 1884 in Tacoma , † December 20, 1966 in Zephyrhills ) was an American marksman and four-time Olympic champion .

He took part in the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp in twelve competitions and won four gold, one silver and two bronze medals. Of his seven medals, he won six in team competitions. Lying with the army rifle, he won the bronze medal over 600 m.

Winning eight medals in the same games was unsurpassed for a long time until Alexander Nikolayevich Ditjatin won eight gymnastics medals at the 1980 Summer Games in Moscow .

Spooner was a career officer in the United States Army and was promoted to captain in 1924.
