The Loaf rock (of English loaf , loaf, loaf ' ) is a cliff rocks in the Palmer Archipelago off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located 5 km west of Biscoe Point in the Bismarck Strait off the southwest coast of Anvers Island .
The Royal Navy's hydrographic survey unit carried out surveys between 1956 and 1957. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee descriptively named it for its shape in 1958.
