Lobershofen is a desolate place in the area of ​​today's municipality Bachhagel in the Bavarian district of Dillingen an der Donau .

St. Georg in the former Lobershofen

Lobershofen is first documented as Lobershoven in 1260. The place was southeast of Bachhagel on the Kränzlesberg. Only the parish church of St. George remained of the hamlet , which probably disappeared at the turn of the high and late Middle Ages . Parish rights were later transferred to the daughter church of the Assumption of Mary . The church set of Lobershofen was donated to the hospital in Höchstädt an der Donau in 1382 .
