Loch Cam is a lake on the Scottish Hebridean island of Islay . It has an elongated shape extending in north-south direction with a maximum length of 880 m and a width of 280 m. The lake is located in a sparsely populated region of the island about four kilometers north-northwest of Bridgend . It is fed by three small brooks that flow into the east bank. The only drain is in the southeast. This connects to an outflow from the neighboring lake Loch Drolsay to the west and feeds Loch Skerrols, one kilometer south . Loch Cam is accessible by a road that branches off the A846 between Bridgend and Port Askaig .
The remains of three Shieling huts are located near the lake .
