action

Lockenköpfchen is an interview film that focuses on a young bald man and his relationships with the environment. Statements from himself, statements from his mother and friends make the degree of frustration of this man clear and refer to certain social behaviors.

criticism

“The film [...] is only apparently an analysis using the means of documentary film. Its realism is a fiction as everything that is shown, said or proven is made up, posed and manipulated. Nothing is real or true here, no matter how convincing [...] it may seem. […] Schamoni cannot be spared the accusation of speculation. Either he is naive enough to believe that two references to the fictional story contained in the opening and closing credits of the film are sufficient to inform the viewer, or he consciously calculates the misunderstanding and thus the wrong reactions in order to be pleased that the audience is "on the glue".
