Loferer high valley

The Loferer Hochtal extends southwest of the market town center of Lofer in the northern Pinzgau , Land Salzburg .

The approximately two kilometer long valley branches south of the Pinzgauer Straße (B 311) shortly before the Strub pass at an altitude of about 645  m above sea level. A. from. After a short ascent past the Exenbach spring up to 680  m above sea level. A. , it runs west of the Franzenhöhe ( 909  m ), the Rauchbergs ( 1294  m ) and the Wechsel ( 1048  m ).
