The Logan Water is a watercourse in Dumfries and Galloway , Scotland . It arises south of Ewe Hill from the confluence of the Farend Gutter and Belt Burn and initially flows in an easterly direction. At the mouth of the Kirn Cleuch it turns south until south of the mouth of the Bigholms Burn it turns east again. It then flows as Wauchope Water up to its confluence with the River Esk in Langholm .
